This book presents a comprehensive study on the synthesis, characterization, and multifunctional applications of rare-earth-doped silicate-based nanomaterials, with a particular focus on lithium aluminum silicate (LiAlSiO₄) systems synthesized via the solution combustion method. It explores the unique structural, optical, and electrical properties imparted by dopants like Europium, Samarium, and Praseodymium, highlighting their potential in photocatalysis, energy storage, radiation sensing, and advanced electronics. Detailed analyses using techniques such as XRD, SEM, TEM, FTIR, DRS, and impedance spectroscopy reveal insights into crystallinity, morphology, band gap behavior, and dielectric performance. The materials demonstrate high photocatalytic efficiency, stable radiation response, and excellent dielectric properties, making them suitable for applications in environmental remediation, space technology, and next-generation electronic devices.
