The book revolve around the destiny of a little boy born into poverty by the parents who for years was unable to give birth. For this reason, they subjected to public mockery in their community, however their story changed for good when God remembered them and they had a son named Nkemafula.
The family did everything humanly possible to give their son the best education they could afford and with the help God and some spirited individuals in the community, men like the King of the community and Chief Obinna who was a very successful business man in the community, Mazi Udeamezu was able to train his ward successfully.
Mazi Udeamezu was a local hunter together with his wife, a petty trader who rely on the proceed of what she could get from her farm but with share determination to ensure that their son had a better life their were able to put in every thing that is required in training their son who became the first Medical Doctor in the entire community. The story teaches of the place of determination and divine connection in the success of the struggle of man.
