A rollicking parody of a timeless classic, Alienne transports Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid into the wacky world of outer space. The heroine, Alienne, is a spunky Martian teenager who boldly opposes the prevailing Martian attitude that human feelings and failings are signs of weakness. In fact, she secretly longs to be an Earthling herself and soon gets her wish, but only after promising her soul to the evil space witch, Earthsula.
