Пълно описание

When the dead first rose, America thought it understood the rules of survival. Avoid the bitten. Stay quiet. Keep moving. Watch the roads. Trust no stranger too quickly. But then the rain turned black.

After a failed attempt to burn out the infection sends poisoned ash into the sky, the weather itself becomes part of the outbreak. The first infected rainfall falls over rural America like oil from the clouds, soaking streets, fields, homes, vehicles, and the desperate people trapped beneath it. Those caught outside begin to change. Those with open wounds die screaming. Stored water becomes a death sentence. A storm cloud on the horizon becomes worse than a horde.

Caleb Rourke has survived by doing what others would not: scavenging ruined towns, sealing shelters with plastic and tape, counting ammunition, rationing food, and trusting the sky less than the dead. Alongside a small group of survivors, he is forced across a devastated American landscape where every supply run could be their last. Pharmacies, gas stations, supermarkets, abandoned police stations, hidden weapon caches, and storm cellars become battlegrounds as the living fight for medicine, fuel, clean water, and enough bullets to make it through one more night.

But the infected are changing with the rain. Soaked, swollen, black-veined, and vicious, they gather in storms and rise from flooded roads, muddy ditches, wrecked vehicles, and broken towns. The dead are no longer the only threat. Hunger, fear, betrayal, and exposure begin tearing the survivors apart from within. When one mistake, one bite, or one drop of black rain can condemn a person, mercy becomes dangerous and trust becomes almost impossible.

Brutal, bleak, and relentless, BLACK RAIN is a gory post-apocalyptic survival horror novel about a world where the weather has turned against mankind, the dead wait in the storm, and staying alive means becoming harder than the nightmare outside.
