A famous neurosurgeon electrifies the scientific community when he announces he is successfully on his way to developing a cure for catastrophic brain disorders, including dementia and Alzheimer's. Jack Bodwell, an energetic out-of-work young writer, follows up on an ad that seeks high-paid volunteers for clinical trials.
