Drama students will embark on a journey back into the time of the old radio days. This comedy will open a window to the past for the young and bring back memories to the parents, grandparents and yes even great/grandparents. Broadcast Blues will take everyone back to the dress and sounds of 1938 and relive a moment in time before TVs, PCs, CDs, DVD's and the net. When entertainment was brought into the living rooms by radio. The stage is turned into a working radio station of the day, with radio actors, a soap opera and a lively game show with the audience. The year is 1938, October 30. Radio is in its hay-day. The competition for air dominance between CBS, NBC, RKO as well as all of the smaller stations in the area, was as high pressured as big business could make it.
