Matt thought being a hero was hard in his small town.
Then he got to the city.
A summer science camp on a college campus was supposed to let Matt feel normal for once. Instead, he's barely pulled up to the dorm when he witnesses a deadly accident...but it was no accident. Suddenly, Matt's trapped in the middle of a violent drug operation run by people far more dangerous than anyone he's faced before.
And with his friends miles away, Matt is forced to look for overlooked talents in the strangers around him.
A musclebound guy in a wheelchair. A master impressionist who can become anyone. A thirteen-year-old cancer survivor with a photographic memory.
They aren't heroes. They barely even know each other.
But if Matt doesn't find a way to pull them together fast, none of them will survive what's coming.
