This book focuses on resistance to change in the ITconsulting process of implementing standardsoftware. It is an investigation into theorganisational behaviour aspects with an economicalview on the work life of a finance specialist suchas a controller, and regarding the consultingprocess, an IT consultant who is dealing withculture, motivation, change, and other soft factorsof every day life without being aware of doing somost of the time. Such specialists behave accordingto experience and intuition but it is rarely aconsciously experienced process with names or factsand figures to measure, visualise or quantify. It isthe aim of this work to provide IT consultants witha guideline to use as well as practice models andmethods used by consultants who work with anorganisational development which is described asfollows: A collection of planned-changeinterventions, built on humanistic-democraticvalues, that seek to improve organisationaleffectiveness and employee well-being.
