Charlotte Ferguson's life is thrown into chaos after she hears those words. Her business, Sunflower Books, relies on the charming small-town library for hosting events. Worried about the future of her little bookstore, she volunteers to lead a committee to keep the library open. She's joined by her friends and several members of the community, including the handsome high school English teacher.
Aidan Talbot has wanted to ask Charlotte out ever since he met her when he first moved to Summerville. She's intelligent, beautiful, and well read. But there's one tiny, little problem. He's too anxious to talk to her. He impulsively volunteers to help Charlotte keep the library open and is using the time to work up the courage to ask her out. It's a good thing he's also a big fan of libraries.
As Charlotte and Aidan work together to keep the beloved Summerville Public Library open, they grow closer. Passions grow over time, but will it be enough to keep the library open?
