This book is a collection of presentations from the "China's Economic New Normal "international conference held at Beijing. The term "new normal" was initially proposed by Xi Jinping- General Secretary of the Communist Party of China and it was subsequently popularized by the press. The conference aims at analyzing China's economic new normal from three aspects-economic growth rate, economic structure and impetus for economic growth based on economic theories and practical experiences. The editorial group selected 16 presentations from this conference and each presentation was professionally edited and polished by the editor and contributor. This book addresses the new orientation of adjustment concerning the economic structure, new impetus for economic growth and new mode of macroeconomic regulation and control. Leading scholars in the field of economics in China are devoted to this book, including Yang Li and Fang Cai from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Shijin Liu from the Development Research Center of the State Council, as well as others.
