Each person, whether religious or not, has a§worldview. This fact leads to inevitable differences§and to the issue of worldview analysis. For§Christians, it is vital to realize that apologetics§must occur at the worldview level. Among§Evangelicals, there are two prominent methodologies§of worldview analysis: transcendental and abductive.§Both methodologies point to universal human phenomena§such as morality and rationality in their approach. §While abductive proponents argue that the Christian§worldview is the best explanation for such phenomena,§transcendental proponents make the stronger claim§that it is a necessary precondition. After§establishing that abductive methodology is superior,§this book also contends that it is bolstered with a§proper framework, namely the essential, biblical§contours of redemptive history: the§creation-fall-redemption matrix.
