During the late 1950s at a convent in Northern England, a young nun is seduced and violently raped by a demon lover in the guise of an angel. In Dangerous Angel, this chilling novel by Susie Reynolds, Jane's life is told through her journals, which offer a glimpse into the repressive church and the strict moral codes of the fifties. Author Susie Reynolds grew up in the West Midlands of England and attended college in Liverpool. She is a drama teacher and also edits and writes for a magazine. She now lives in Brittany, France, and frequently visits Paris and its churches, where much of this book was set. Reynolds is currently working on her second novel.
