Sir Reginald of Woan, the ageing hero, sets out on his final quest: to find out why the fields of mana, the magical heartland of the Five Kingdoms, are burning. He hopes that more will follow. Lee does not have a distinctive style, but describes his books as a mixture of fantasy, sci-fi and horror, as these are the sort of books he enjoys himself.
