It is a well-accepted and tested practice that when national education systems grapple with educational issues, comparative-international perspectives can be reviewed for assistance. Put another way, when countries face particular educational issues or challenges, educators in one nation could benefit from the experience of their peers elsewhere who faced or are still facing similar concerns. The study of the experience of educators in other countries can reveal the full extent and implications of the problem and possible contributory causes while suggesting solutions for dealing with student misconduct. Against this background this volume offers the experience of countries dealing with student misconduct in the hope that it will open a wider perspective to academics, policy makers, and educators alike, eventually making a contribution towards the successful dealing with student misconduct.
