Guided endodontics is an innovative digital approach that combines CBCT imaging, intraoral scanning, CAD/CAM technology, and 3D printing to improve the accuracy and predictability of endodontic procedures. It is particularly beneficial in managing calcified canals, pulp canal obliteration, developmental anomalies, post removal, and endodontic microsurgery. Guided navigation enables minimally invasive access cavity preparation, preserving pericervical dentin and reducing the risk of procedural errors. Studies have demonstrated improved precision, enhanced treatment outcomes, and reduced chairside time compared to conventional techniques. Overall, guided endodontics represent a significant advancement toward safer, more conservative, and predictable endodontic treatment.
