I want you to remember that particular nightmare that has consistently haunted you to this very day. Now imagine if I told you that you had to physically relive that same sordid nightmare at least once every year and with each time you experience it, the worse it gets. Such is HAYLAM: an unholy world war that has plagued the continent of Dorithea for thousands of years. A war that is so great that it visits its terrors upon every man, woman and child; every highborn and every peasant. A war that is doomed to repeat itself Every 240 years.
It is the year 238, just 2 years before HAYLAM begins again. This reality has dawned upon the Seven Princes of Malderia, Emperor Rawthorn of Seidonia, The Brotherhood of Halo's Eye and the Shamans of Aboth, and all of them now scramble to build an alliance so they can at least have some morsel of chance to survive this apocalyptic and unholy war.
