Anno 2099
Global peace had come, but far too late.
After decades of conflict, humanity had finally dismantled every weapon of mass destruction. Nuclear, chemical, biological arsenals were taken apart one by one, and the world's scientific and economic power was redirected toward a single, noble purpose: ensuring a dignified, healthy life for every human being, without borders or distinctions.
For a brief moment, it seemed possible.
Nations shared discoveries without secrecy. Borders faded into irrelevance. The brightest minds worked together as a single global organism, solving problems that had once appeared insurmountable. Revolutionary technologies reshaped daily life, making energy, medicine, and knowledge accessible to all.
But Earth had not forgotten.
The wounds inflicted over centuries did not heal with treaties or cooperation. Fragile ecosystems, already pushed to the brink, continued to collapse. The planet was failing-slowly, irreversibly-and no alliance, no scientific breakthrough, could turn back the clock.
Terrorism had not vanished either. It had changed shape, diminished, mutated... but it still surfaced, a reminder that humanity had learned to collaborate, yet had not learned to let go of hatred or fanaticism.
So while the world celebrated the end of war, another battle had already been lost.
The battle for Earth's survival.
Because the planet was drifting toward its own kind of Big Bang-
and this time, the dinosaurs were us, the so‑called "evolved species."
