This book is about the pain, suffering and struggles I experienced after losing my first born. My son. My surprise. My delight!
Imagine the feeling of learning about your pregnancy 5 months into your term. What a surprise! Only to later in life have to experience the worst surprise of your life. The unexplainable shock of learning that your son was murdered. The news every parent dreads to hear that they lost a loved one. And the pain, suffering and even guilt that follows. The belief that your God, whom you have been serving has let you down. All the questions that seem to have no answers.
But as time goes on, you begin to learn that you cannot stay bitter if you want to get better. I learned that I could not just go through the pain and not gain from it.
So I decided that since I had to go through all the pain, suffering, guilt and shame, then I might as well grow through it. This is why I wrote this book, "I Wasn't Ready" to help myself heal and to let you know, as a parent, that with God, all pains and wounds will heal in due time.
