In the rural valleys of Colombia's Valle del Cauca, the sugar cane fields stretch for miles beneath dark hills and scattered forests. Farmers know the land. Hunters know the trails. And the men called Los Caballeros know what moves through the countryside after dark.
For generations, they have been the ones people call when something feels wrong in the fields or along the forest edge. Missing livestock. Strange sounds in the night. Things glimpsed briefly beneath the trees.
But lately, the countryside has begun to change.
Dogs refuse familiar trails. Cattle grow restless after sunset. And deep in the cane fields, something ancient is stirring.
When one of the hunters fails to return from the hills, the remaining caballeros begin a search that draws them into a world of forgotten folklore, hidden violence, and creatures older than memory itself. Along the way, they cross paths with Maribel - a woman whose connection to the darkness surrounding Palmira may run deeper than anyone realizes.
As the nights grow more dangerous, the hunters are forced to confront a terrifying possibility: the land they thought they understood has never truly belonged to them.
