Do you ever feel like you want to change, but you can't seem to make it happen? Do you long to be closer to God?
So often we change as soon as we become Christians, then go for years and years without any growth. In this study, you'll have a chance to study the Bible in a way that will help you visibly grow as you go to God for help with life.
Each day (or week), you'll study a small section of Scripture and use that Bible passage to explore something that's going on in your life right now. It may be something small that happened yesterday or something you've been struggling with for years. It could be a temptation, a trial, a relationship struggle, or something that's not even on your radar right now-but will be after this study!
As you explore that day's scripture, Barb provides questions to help you gain awareness of where you're at right now, see the issue from a biblical perspective, then list some action steps to make a change in that area of your life. Philippians is all about growing closer to God as you go to Him for help with life. Barb includes a prayer suggestion in each lesson to help with that goal.

This 16-lesson Bible study is suitable for individuals, one-on-ones, and small groups. It includes a leader's guide with suggestions for a group study, including how to adapt the study to a shorter time period such as a six or eight week study. Because the study is made up mostly of thought-provoking questions with practical examples, it can be used for both young adults and older adults.
