The four tales in Quatro are individual stories that cover a wide spectrum of history, geography, and culture, ranging from the battlefields of World War I and the mines of Congo to the classroom and the church rectory. Through these stories, readers meet such key people as Dietrich Berkemeier (aka Rick Berk), Father Paul Barton, agent Bob Lingdren, and gem hunter Dan Drake. Each is entwined in a drama both of their own and others' making--all looking for a meaningful life and even a more meaningful legacy.
