Nikki and Erik Halvorson were dedicated to salvage: preserving historical homes and buildings in their Iowa hometown from destruction. Failing that, they would save from the wreckage anything that still had life in it.
The young couple fell in love with a Victorian home they knew had to be theirs. It needed some work, but they were willing to take it on.
