This book is compiled from nearly a decade of teaching by Professor Yu Zhuowei, former President of Huadong Hospital Affiliated with Fudan University, at the Zhoujiaqiao Community Health Service Center in Changning District, Shanghai. Professor Yu led China's first generation of family physicians in receiving and analyzing complex community-based cases. From over a hundred case manuscripts, 20 highly representative cases were carefully selected and compiled into this volume.
