Planet Sephro has a series of powerful beasts and monsters that want nothing more but to feed on the kaean, a humanlike race. The kaean must fight these dangerous beasts in order to survive, but some kaean actually like behaving like these predators who want to eat them. Jondu is one such kaean. He loves feeding on the energy and life of his fellow beings, while causing pain and suffering to them. Why? Because they locked him up for raping his neice Craela at the start of her puberty,a thing nobody expected Craela to survive, but she did. Not only did Craela, now aged 17 in Sephron years, survive the rape, she grew stronger from it. She is now cultivating her first relationship which her parents are watching over with responsible support. Craela is seeing a 17-year-old human boy she meets in the astral planes named Cryss Slattery from a faraway planet called Earth.
Earth becomes the home base for Jondu's revenge plan. His partner-in-crime is Loriella Montgomery. Loriella is a strange and unhappy girl with a sad foundation that began with a crackhead mother who commited suicide after Loriella was born. Loriella's need to create trouble even in the most peaceful of atmospheres throws everyone in her life off their game, and gives Jondu the weapon he needs to get back at Sephro.
Jondu abducts a powerful kaean by the name of Surin to the planet Earth where he and Loriella plan to sacrifice him and create a new planet for Jondu and Loriella to rule on their own. The abduction is a miserable failure, as Craela and a few friends, some of whom are human, aided in the rescue of Surin.
Now, Surin, Craela and their families are trying to pick up their lives where they left off while planning to unite Sephro and Earth in order to face down this imposing threat that is Jondu and Loriella. However, they must get rid of those pesky miggins first before they bring Sephro to complete ruin!
