Because his sketch process is integral to the drawings Ryan McGinness employs in his works, he is an avid sketcherand archivist. Sketchbook Selections 2000-2012 is a curated collection of pages out of McGinness' sketchbooks from the past decade. Presented in non-chronological order, these selections enable the reader to witness this dynamic artist working through aesthetic and semantic concerns by combining ideas, words, and pictures in this un-selfconscious medium.
