Some linguists have worked on some aspects of morphological processes in Akan. This book gives a detailed account of some segmental and tonal morphemes which are attached to stems to either change the category in which they are (derivational affixes), or just modify the meanings of those lexical items (inflectional affixes). The book is based on topics in Linguistics (Morphology) courses in Ghanaian Universities, Training Colleges, Secondary and Basic schools. It was directed and edited by some eminent professors and lecturers. Some Morphological Processes in Akan is structured to include some important aspects in morphology, phonology, syntax and semantics of Akan lexicon.
