In the past, data on olfactory thresholds have not been standardized; different values have been scattered throughout the relevant literature. Using a systematic approach to standardization, this book provides the first homogeneous inventory of weighted and averaged human olfactory thresholds for over 500 chemicals. A list of the literature references cited is included, as is a short explanation of the mathematical methods used by the authors.
