Pulse and Leo narrowly save Quark from becoming a Black Hole and, unknowingly, the dream realm itself. They thought they had overcome the toughest challenge, but there is something in the shadows that makes the hair on the back of Pulse's neck stand up. A creature, thought to be nothing more than a myth, is about to make contact, and it has its six eyes set on Pulse...
It's a cosmic catastrophe. This is no longer within the neat confines of the dream realm, but the existence of this creature threatens all of reality itself. The Universe's best-kept secrets are unraveling, and it spells trouble for the Weavers. Seret must abandon her task of hunting down the trio to contain the anomaly, as well as keep the other Weavers from falling into dismay and despair.
Pulse, on the other hand, is trapped, taken hostage by a creature outside their understanding and with motives they can't comprehend. In order to find their way back to Leo and Quark, they need to adapt, play it smart, and try to make it out of the labyrinth intact. Days go by, and with each passing moment, with every secret warping and distorting their understanding of the universe, they lose a little more ground against the creature, who plays a game where the prize is Pulse's freedom and future.
