Timothy Tutti is a reject.
He gets pushed around, stuffed into trash cans-basically, he's a bully magnet.
Then something scary... and wonderful happens
.
After every bullying incident, Timothy's body becomes weightless. He calls it The Weird, because that's exactly what it is. To his horror-and delight-he discovers he can float.
Timothy soon finds out he isn't alone. Other kids have the same strange ability, and together they have formed a secret group called The Flyers. They teach Timothy how to control his power-to swoop, jet, hover, and soar.
But just as Timothy begins to feel like he finally belongs, classmates start disappearing from his school.
While parents panic, teachers crumble, and the police stumble around completely clueless, the mystery only grows darker. Who is taking the students? And what could a bunch of kids possibly do about it?
Ordinary kids? Probably nothing.
But kids who can fly?
