In this book, we learn about a new way of looking at our ourselves. In fact, this "new" way is over 50 years old now and was originally developed by American physicist Richard Feynman in the 1940's to explain the behaviour of sub-atomic particles such as electrons in atoms. In more recent times, UK physicist Stephen Hawking used Feynman's method to describe the behaviour of the universe and how it evolved from the big bang. In this new book, we examine how Feynman's method explains what happens to us in our every day lives. To do this, we are going to take a walk from our home to a local store and buy an ice cream. Making this journey means that we leave home, follow a certain route, and arrive at a destination. We will find that we don't just make one journey, we make many journeys along many different paths all at the same time to arrive at our destination.
