In 2025, I found myself trying to recover from a serious illness, coping with disability, and realising the end of my marriage. My grandparents passed away, and it felt like my year was crumbling around me, everything falling off a cliff. Death wasn't new to me, in fact it is something I deal with daily in my work as a counsellor. This book is about grief; it is about the end of relationships, about the beginning of new ones, about the grief of disability, about the broader grief of the national struggles of my home country. Grief is rage, and shock, and denial. It is also love, and transformation--a complete dissolution of the self and the invitation to rebirth at the end. I hope you find some affinity in this work.
