Vintage Art: Maria Sibylla Merian :20 Botanical Prints is a collection of detailed illustrations by Maria Sibylla Merian (1647-1717), a German illustrator and naturalist.

Maria published several books regarding the cycle of metamorphosis namely in 1679, 1683 and 1705, she was renowned for her intricate butterfly drawings and contributions to entomology.

Throughout this curated portfolio are beautiful flora and fauna drawings from her book
Metamorphosis insectorum Surinamensium.

How to use the prints:
The one-sided prints are ideal for framing, collage, decoupage, and papercrafts, they can be removed from the book by either using a box cutter or scissors.
