This is a reference book on the 1977-78 television series Wings. The book includes all the episodes in original air date transmission order, complete cast lists, numerous photographs, directorial credits, and a story synopsis for each episode. Wings was a drama series about the Royal Flying Corps that ran on B.B.C. television from 1977 to 1978. It ran for 25 episodes of fifty minutes each. Tim Woodward starred as Alan Farmer, a young blacksmith turned fighter pilot in World War 1.Nicholas Jones played his teacher and mentor, Captain Triggers and Michael Cochrane played his upper-class friend, Charles Gaylion, who began a relationship with Farmer's girlfriend while Farmer was shot down over France and believed killed.
